Pushing His Luck

After Tasha Winters, a twenty-one-year old English actress is invited to go to New York to meet with some executives from a leading Hollywood studio she becomes embroiled in a passionate, whirlwind romance. Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine what she thought would be one week would become so much more. Having communicated from opposite sides of the Atlantic, Jim comes to visit with one goal in mind, to convince her to agree to marry him, to become his Lucky Seven and to move back to L.A. Having finally accepted his proposal and with plans to make her home with him, Tasha expresses some reservations, even suggesting that they should take a step back over dinner. Expecting protestations and to be stampeded by James, she is stunned when he says nothing. Convinced that his silence means he agrees that they should take a step back, a huge and lifelong step back, Tasha decides that she should have listened to the warning bells in her head all along and steered clear of her older, handsome lover, but she refuses to beg for his love so prepares to leave. Is there a way back for them or are they destined to travel very separate paths and where will the path they travel take them?
